May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
The sun shine warm upon your face
The rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again,

Stacey Clark passed away on March 12th, 2009

Staceys detailed memorial page with photos and comments is at http://www.nitrosmike.com/Stacey_Clark.htm

Stacey Clark passed away on March 12th, 2009 and was found on March 12th, 2009 by her friend Paulina. Paulina called the police when she could not get any response from Stacy. She and the police found Stacy in her Fleetwood Motor home. Stacey DID NOT die of a over dose. Stacey got very sick for the last couple of months. Prior to that she was doing fine. I first met Stacey over 20 years ago thru Jeff K of JLK Precision Motorcycle when I was running with the Survivors MC at Bass Lake. Stacey was a founding member of Raw Silk MC and was very active in the motorcycle community and NA. She was fun, energetic, loud, and excited to be living a clean and sober life style and having the time of her life riding motorcycles with her clean and sober friends and her sisters in Raw Silk. Those were the best of times. That is how I want to remember Stacey Clark, with the wind in her face riding her motorcycle wearing a huge smile. A happy, joyous and free Stacey. May you rest in peace.

Please send me any photos you have of Stacey for my memorial page on my website.  http://www.nitrosmike.com/memorial.htm We love you Stacey, NitrosMike nitros69@sonic.net

With a sad heart I must announce that Jesse Bustamante the Mobile Tattoo man, that many people have had the honor to meet while getting inked at our parties, passed away of a sudden heart attack on Tuesday March 10th, 2009

Update on Jesse Bustamante memorial and funeral services 3/16/09:The turn out was huge, every seat was taken in the large church. A couple of dozen Motorcycles from Jesse's Stockton motorcycle club, Diablo Valley Survivors MC and other Nor Cal groups and individual bikers from as far as a couple hundred miles away led the huge car a and vehicle procession with a police escort from Deyoung's Funeral Chapel to St' Luke's Catholic Church. It took 20 minutes. The service was moving and inspiring; recalling Jesse's trouble with his early life, his turn around and redemption of his spirit thru religion and practicing the principals of NA. Jesse had 15 and 1/2 years clean. The tear jerker came when Jesse's daughter Sarah Bustamante read a testimonial highlighting her father's love of his family and friends and his achievements. His service to his community and the fellowship of NA will not be forgotten. Jesse left his "mark" on many people in more ways than one, including his tattoo art.

Jesse enjoyed attending the Saturday NA Home Group 7:30pm, 1820 Lucerne Ave, Stockton, CA

"I first met Charlie at Bass Lake Survivors run in 1984. He was clean and sober then and has been ever since. He was very active in NA and AA up to the end and was very active in supporting his community of Point Arena and Mendocino County. His wife Meghan would like to see numerous bikes at his memorial. Let show our respects – saddle up and ride. A large groups of bikers headed up on Sunday May 6, 2007 to Oz Farm, Pt Arena one of his favorite places on Earth, to attend Charlie’s Memorial and offer his wife Meghan and 2 young children support in their time of need. In loving memory of "Spokes"--Todd  Smith November 22, 2006

Todd was killed while riding his motorcycle November 22, 2006.

In the words of his brother, Pelon,  who shared at Todd's funeral: "Over the past several months, I had the opportunity to get to know Todd on a very personal basis. He was an incredible man, full of love and so happy with his sobriety. In the past two years, he cleared parole, made countless fine new friends also committed to sobriety, advanced quickly in his work, re-established relationships with his estranged family including, most  significantly, his 18 year old daughter. Todd had a fantastic sense of humor, he  was very smart, and he had a heart of gold. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his friends, and I would have trusted him with my life. The one thing I will remember most about Todd was his incredible smile when riding his bike, when talking about his daughter and when making wise-cracks. He was like a giant kid; everything that was happening to him in sobriety filled him with wonder, and he had an incredible thirst to experience the happiness that had been delayed as the result of his addiction. He was a joy to know, I truly loved him, and I know I speak for many of you as well in saying that I will miss him so, so much."

James "Red" Patton RIP 09-27-02
Clean & Sober at the End of The Ride
James RED Patton
Red rode with Bay Area Sportsters. Not a club, just a collection of odd characters riding in loose formation and 3%ers International Clean & Sober MCC. One of Red's favorite things to do was to yell "TUNNEL!!!" Whenever either group went through a tunnel of course. He had such an infectious spirit and was so loved that 6 years after his passing people who used to ride with him still yell "TUNNEL!!!' whenever we ride through one...

03/05/2009 Our family is grateful for another year filled the joys and wonders of raising our family thru good times and bad, happy and sad, & the easy and hard times. We made some very good new friends and unexpectedly lost other very good people that were loved by all. These people were and shall remain extremely special to us.

We all miss these folks. If you could find the time in your busy schedule, to observe a moment of silence for the dearly departed individuals, and please say a special prayer for the families and friends that they left behind, it may help their loved ones in some small way to get thru another day without them.

"Hug someone you love (that’s easy) and hug someone your are mad at (that’s harder but it heals old wounds) Love ya more than you know". NitrosMike

You may make submissions to this page via email - please include everything you would like readers to know about the departed and attach a picture if you have one. God Bless, NitrosMike Memorial submissions
